For the benefit of the gods and the sanctification of the environment, havan uses a wide variety of materials.
Yagya is the best form of karma, according to this proverb. Agnidev transmits the sound of the mantra and the seeker's resolve to the God by means of the God's accession, which is provided by the accent of fire. These waves then move throughout the universe and grant the seeker's wishes.
The deity for whom the Yagya was performed would traditionally appear in front of the devotee and grant their wishes.
Yet over time, the correct understanding of Havan and the correct approach to devotion and desire disappeared, which is why Yagya karma failed to fulfil its intended function.
